Get your diaries out, it's time to get the date for Cycle to Work Day in them! This year, we want to have an even bigger run up to the day and make sure we get the most from the fantastic success of the previous two years.

Before we get ahead of ourselves and go into too much detail though, we just wanted to let everyone know when everything will be happening. Forward planning is a virtue, after all.

To make things easy for you we have set up some calendar invites. All you need to do is click on the type of calendar you use - easy-peasy. If you're old school, then just jot the date - 3rd September - in your diary today!

What's the Cycle to Work Day story?

Our vision here at Cycle to Work Day HQ, is to see 1,000,000 people regularly cycle commuting by 2021 (the next census). To achieve this, we need to see an exponential growth in the number of people becoming everyday cyclists - therein lays our mission. We seek to celebrate utility cycling on the main stage and with your help and the support of our partners Sustrans and British Cycling, we believe we are rolling in the right direction.
